About the Printer:

Cory Hanes is a screen printing specialist with over a decade of hands-on experience, primarily in water-based shops. His journey began in college, designing t-shirts for his own brand. Eager to be more involved in the process, he took a job at the shop printing his designs—armed with only YouTube knowledge and a deep artistic curiosity. Starting from the ground up, Cory learned from veteran printers, honing his craft one screen at a time.

He quickly gravitated toward complex, high-color jobs on manual presses, thriving in the challenge and rhythm of production. After working in several shops, he found his groove in a facility running all ROQ presses. That passion led him to a role as a technician with ROQ, where he traveled the world building presses and teaching others how to print. Along the way, he gained a deep appreciation for the global screen printing community and the diverse people behind it. At the heart of Cory’s love for screen printing is a simple truth: he finds purpose in working with his hands and mastering a craft. For him, printing isn’t just a job—it’s a creative outlet that brings ideas to life.
