Magic Portal Tee

This Portal Tee comes from a six color discharge print for the Print Masters Throwdown Discharge Challenge. It's ran on a manual press, marking Cody’s first time printing both discharge and water based inks. As a tattoo artist, Cody’s artwork carries that hand drawn, illustrative style, with layered gradients and organic shapes that translate directly into the print.

About the Printer: 

Cody Langway is a 31-year-old artist from the South Shore of Massachusetts who began his screenprinting journey in 2014 with Zach Achorn aka “The Can of Corn”. They met through mutual friends, and Zach introduced Cody to the process of printing his artwork onto shirts while he was finishing his art degree. Over the years, Cody worked at SelfMade Designs and spent four years at another shop, where he developed a passion for automatic presses. His love for screen printing stems from a desire to creatively express himself and others. In addition to screenprinting, Cody has been crushing it in the tattoo world for over two years and is excited to create new designs and collaborate with fellow artists.
